Netscape Communications Corp. v. Microsoft Corporation

On January 22, 2002, Netscape Communications Corporation, a subsidiary of America Online, Inc., filed suit against Microsoft Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeking redress for Microsoft's anticompetitive conduct against Netscape.  For more information, click on the links below.

For related information regarding the U.S. Government's case against Microsoft proceed to the following link, U.S. v.Microsoft. On June 7, 2000, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia concluded, and the Court of Appeals unanimously affirmed on June 28th, 2001, that Microsoft's behavior violated the antitrust laws and had harmed Netscape Communications Corp.
