Junk E-mail Decisions and Litigation

New York v. Woodside Literary Agency

The New York Attorney General's Internet and Computer Unit and its Bureau of Consumer Frauds and Protect have jointly sued the prolific spammer, Woodside Literary Agency. The suit deals with the solicitations for work Woodside sent out on literary newsgroups and chat rooms. Additionally, another suit has been filed against Woodside that charges someone in the company has been stalking a writer online for months.
