Cyber Promotions In New York City federal court, Bigfoot Partners, an e-mail service, filed an October 6, 1997 lawsuit seeking a court order that would prohibit Cyber Promotions from using Bigfoot to send junk e-mail and $1 million in damages. On March 10, 1998, Bigfoot announced that Cyber Promotions agreed to an injunction prohibiting the defendant from sending or helping their customers send unsolicited e-mail to any Bigfoot customers or services provided by Bigfoot to its partners.
