Wang Laboratories, Inc. v. America Online, Inc. and Netscape Communications Corp.

On December 17, 1999, the United States Court of Appeals affirmed the final judgment of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, granting summary judgment that America Online and Netscape Communications did not infringe, literally or under the doctrine of equivalents, the asserted claims of Wang's United States Patent No. 4,751,669, issued June 14, 1984 (the '669 patent).
