America Online, Inc. v.
Ultima Gold
On January 31, 2001, a WIPO Arbitration and
Mediation Center panel ruled that the domain name, "icqteam.com," registered by
Ultima Gold is identical or confusingly similar to the trademark in which America Online
has rights and that the domain name has been registered and used in bad faith. The
panel ordered the Respondent to transfer the registration of the domain name to the
Complainant, America Online, Inc.
