America Online, Inc. v. Jimenez

On October 15, 2000, a WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center panel ruled that a) the domain name "aolmex.com", registered by Pedro Alex Jimenez, is confusingly similar to America Online's registered trademarks AOL, AOL.COM and AOLMEXICO, b) Mr. Jimenez has no rights or legitimate interest in the domain name, and c) Mr. Jimenez registered and used the domain name in bad faith.   The panel ordered Mr. Jimenez to transfer the registration of the domain name to America Online.
