Marobie-FL, Inc. v. NAFED

In Marobie-FL, Inc. v. National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois issued an interesting opinion on net copyright issues. The NAFED had a Web page on which it posted clip art. NAFED admitted the clip art was copied from Marobie's copyrighted materials. Marobie sued NAFED and Northwest Nexus, NAFED's ISP. The court granted the plaintiff's motions for summary judgement against NAFED, but denied the motions for summary judgement against Northwest.
